Paraprofessional Facilitator

This contract role offers the chance to work as a Paraprofessional Facilitator, making a direct impact by assisting Speech-Language Pathologists providing virtual services in schools near Deatsville, AL. With placements available across multiple locations, you'll play a key role in preparing students for SLP sessions and may also help teachers in classrooms as needs arise.

What you'll bring:

• An Associate's degree or higher, or passing scores on the WorkKeys test, or a Substitute certification
• Previous experience working in a school environment
• Ability to pass a fingerprint and background check
• Adaptability to shift between supporting SLPs and classroom teachers based on student needs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• A proactive attitude and genuine care for student success

Primary responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with virtual SLPs to prepare students for teletherapy sessions at designated school sites
• Provide supervision and support to students during their sessions
• Assist teachers in the classroom when not actively facilitating SLP services
• Adapt to changing schedules or assignments as directed to support students and educators
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures
• Ensure a positive and encouraging environment for all students
