Health AideDuties and Responsibilities• Perform basic first aid on students• Administer scheduled and PRN inhalers and oral medications• Recognize the signs of severe allergic reactions and be able to administer emergency anaphylactic treatment, if needed• Establish a positive relationship with parents, students, coworkers, volunteers, and other visitors. Contact parents as appropriate.• Learn and maintain knowledge of health documentation• Maintain confidentiality of health information pertaining to individual students/staff• Aid students with daily living needs as indicated• Performs other duties as assigned by an appropriate administratorMinimum Qualifications• High School Diploma.
