DescriptionJob Overview: 11pm-6:30am (Shift subject to change based on business needs)The Security Dispatcher is responsible for communication between the casino and security officers. The dispatcher is essentially the “go-to person” for the entire facility, communication hub, help desk and general receptionist for back-of-the-house. Contact comes via radio, telephone, window access and walk-in. The resulting creation of wealth will grow opportunities for all.Schedule:Wind Creek Hospitality Security Teams operate 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Days/shifts are assigned to meet the needs of the organization, and are subject to change to meet the needs of the organization. Positions include week-end and holiday shifts.Duties and Responsibilities:Answer phones and radio messages for many reasons such as medical/EMT responses, place any 911 calls, log the call, time and description, acquiring useful camera coverage where possible and several other emergency situationsAbility to control the radio net and direct responses according to proceduresScreens all non-team members and verifies authorization to gain entry into BOHAbility to work in a stressful environmentEnsures visitors and vendors sign in/out and issues/retrieves a temporary badgeEnsures that all team members, vendors or others are authorized to enter the facilityPossesses knowledgeable of computer functions and operates various applicationsMonitors multiple radios at all times from different internal departments to include multiple phonesReceives messages and directs message intent as according to procedureMonitors CCTV camerasAccepts and logs lost and found items, including items from Hotel roomsMaintain fleet vehicles: Control keys and record required entries on the activity log for fleet vehiclesMaintain Controlled Keys and document issue/receive according to procedureMonitors alarms on the annunciation panel and makes proper notifications according to proceduresCoordinates EMS, Local Law Enforcement, Managers, Security officers, and the general population of the Casino with response to emergencies and notificationsMust have good organizational skillsMakes record of events and activitiesOther duties and responsibilities as assignedJob Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment- requiredMust be twenty-one (21) years of age or older- requiredOne (1) year experience in law enforcement, corrections or other security DISPATCH capacity- preferredExperienced and proficient user in Microsoft Word; a skills test will be administered and candidate must achieve at least 70% skills pass rate- requiredExcellent writing and verbal communication skills; a skills test will be administered and candidate must achieve at least 70% skills pass rate- requiredAll candidates are required to participate in a panel interview. Additionally, all candidates may be asked demonstrate required skills by participating in a realistic job preview which consists of prepared scenarios and role-play. The panel of interviewers will observe all candidates during their role-play- requiredExperience in customer relations or guest servicesMust complete/pass TIPS and Title#31 training as a condition of employmentWilling to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidaysWilling to travel and participate in training as recommended or requiredMust have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this positionMust have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environmentNATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PREFERENCE IN HIRING POLICY SHALL BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMESComplaints about the recruitment or selection process for employment should be directed in writing to office of the President and CEO of Wind Creek Hospitality.#J-18808-Ljbffr
