Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience working in educational settings as a Paraprofessional or instructional aide
• Comfortable supporting both elementary-aged (K-5) and middle school (6-8) students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt to various classroom needs and learning styles
• Understanding of IEPs and special education processes is a plus
• Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and supporting educational goals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers with instructional and classroom management tasks for students across elementary and middle grades
• Provide one-on-one or small-group academic support to reinforce lesson concepts
• Help students with classroom activities, assignments, and social integration
• Support students with diverse learning or behavioral needs under the guidance of special education or general education staff
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers and staff
