The Southern Poverty Law Center is seeking a Coordinator, Recruitment committed to supporting social justice!
Reporting the Manager, Recruitment. The Coordinator is organized and dependable with experience supporting campus recruiting events and engagement initiatives. Have strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage logistics, assist stakeholders, and contribute to delivering engaging and efficient recruiting experiences.

Recruiting events involve many moving parts-booth assignments, registration systems, schedules, vendor coordination, accessibility needs, and last-minute changes. A good coordinator keeps all of this structured without letting details slip, especially as the event date approaches and pressure increases.
Effective Communicator. Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally to student candidates, Career Services staff and various stake holders.
Collaborative. Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently across the Center , Career Services and with stake holders.
Adaptive. The ability to stay calm under pressure and adjusts plans quickly without disrupting the overall experience.
Personable. Ability to interact with students, Career Services, and various stake holders.

What You'll Do
Post open job announcements on internal and external job boards as well as social media outlets.
Pre-screen job applicants, perform reference checks and coordinator in person interviews.
Assist with interview scheduling, conducting of preliminary screens, and arranging travel.
Participate in and plan recruitment and engagement events.
Produce clear, strong, and compelling communications to attract prospects (i.e., job positions, newsletters, emails, social media outreach, and other forms of content).
Assist in the development of Student Program resources.
Update and manage recruitment databases for accuracy.
Ship and order all recruitment swag.
Perform other duties assigned.
