Note any Quality Certifications.Industry: Aero-Engine (gas turbine / turbomachinery)Roles & ResponsibilitiesEstablishing, investigating, analyzing, verifying, assuring, and sustaining part/process quality (OEM, Supplier) stemming from your broad technical experience across the Product Life Cycle coupled with an array of industry recognized quality tools (skills) – and applying that appropriately, thoroughly, and timely.Solicit/Mine quality data and conduct/review Root Cause – Corrective Action evaluations including using tools such as 8D/DMAIC/Red X. Partake in product and/or process improvements projects aimed at reducing COPQ.QE's execute work (services) in any/all of the following Quality functions:Quality Management System (QMS)Part & Process Qualification / VerificationNon-Conforming MaterialContinuous Improvement / DevelopmentEngage with customer, customer's suppliers, et al in a competent, technical, and professional manner.Maintain Integrity & Ethics in all situations.Generate Continuous Improvement ideas to reduce Waste and Cost of Poor Quality.Help Quest Global grow while you learn and develop your career.Required Skills (Technical Competency) / AttributesProduct Life Cycle experience with complex mechanical components/assemblies/products – aero/marine/industrial gas turbine preferred.Ability to establish/interpret/review quality requirements.Familiarity with AS9100, AS13100, AS9145, AS9110, AS6081, ISO 9001, FAA/FARs, DCMA/DoD.Capable of using technical drawings which include GD&T.Knowledge of modern high tech manufacturing processes (metal, composites, coatings).Inspection planning, gauge calibration, R&R studies.Working Part Qualification processes such as PPAP / MRL, FAIR.Conducting QE activities tied to NPI launches, Transitions, Training/Development initiatives.Evaluating non-conforming material, product recall, MRB, RC-CA.Presenting technical data/results.Advanced MS Office tools (Excel – pivot, charts, lookups, macros; PowerPoint – tech presentations, training; Word – procedural writing).Electronic MRP / SW / WI systems (input/mining/extracting/analyzing).Statistical based tools, sampling, analysis, metrics.Desired Skills / AttributesFamiliarity with gas turbine engine workings, design, manufacturing, MRO.Operating in procedure based and regulatory controlled environments.Able to read Engineering prints w/GD&T and comprehend associated Quality Requirements.Gaging experience (manual, visual, computer based, Inspection Planning, SPC, Gage R&R, etc).Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentOffice and/or Shop Floor Environments.Lift / Transport 25 lb (occasional).Common activities include sitting, walking, and standing.Typically includes substantial amounts of computer work – but can also include hands‑on activities (e.g., lifting, inspecting, transporting, etc).Heavily Regulated Industry with strict adherence to procedures and standard work.Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late, arriving early, OT.Ability to use personal transportation (work, customer, other).Full time role w/ company benefits.
