Job Description Job Description Summary:The Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership and oversight to the BSA Maintenance Department by monitoring maintenance activities and employees, and by reporting information regularly to other shifts and ManagementEssential Functions & Responsibilities :(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)Operate production equipment to provide training to maintenance operatorsCreate weekend work plans/schedule, including shutdown and holidaysSupervise planning of preventive maintenance schedules, shutdowns, and repairs related to equipmentMonitor and report downtime, Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Fail (MTBF), and 3R5S for shiftReport weekly and monthly result and plan for shift Directly supervise weekend and shutdown work completed by team membersReport work results on weekends and holidays with construction report and hourly summaryReport weekly and monthly attendance analysis for shiftMonitor 3R5S in work areas related to the Maintenance Department's property and equipmentTrain and evaluate hourly Team Members' skills and work performanceReport training results and improvement progressCommunicate with each department's vendors and contractors regarding maintenance issuesReport information after shift change meeting regarding any maintenance issuesEnsure OSHA and Mobis standards are adhered to for Personal Protective EquipmentReport daily downtime of all processes, including trouble reports for major downtimeSubmit continuous improvement ideas for equipment issuesCreate, maintain, and monitor list of needed repairsCreate notification and work orders in SAP for preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and breakdownsAssist with new equipment installation in cooperation with engineeringDocument process data required per ADEM and OEM related equipmentComply with and promote safety in the workplaceAll other duties assignedBasic Qualifications :( The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systemsKnowledge of robotics, automation, and injection molding machinesKnowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TMP) techniquesKnowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointLeadership and supervisory skillsPreferred Education & Experience:Associates Degree plus three (3) or more years of maintenance supervisor experienceOr a High School Diploma or GED plus seven (7) or more years of maintenance supervisor experienceWorking knowledge of automobile industryAutomotive manufacturing experienceExperience with SAPAutomated production line experienceSupervisory Responsibilities: Yes
