Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This is a contract position beginning August 4, 2026, and concluding May 26, 2027, with a 37.5-hour work week onsite.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Special Education Teacher licensure; verify credentials here
• Experience or familiarity working with elementary-aged students
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet a variety of learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with school staff and families
• Passion for fostering an inclusive, positive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Open to working in inclusion, self-contained, or behavior unit settings as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction based on students' IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Develop engaging lesson plans and modify curriculum to ensure accessibility
• Implement classroom management techniques tailored to various classroom types
• Track and report student progress, meeting all documentation requirements
• Serve as an advocate and mentor for students with diverse learning needs
• Communicate consistently with families to support student success
