ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Engineer to support utility infrastructure projects, with a focus on substations and transmission lines, within heavy industrial and commercial construction environments. This individual will play a key role in project planning, execution, and closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. The role requires strong leadership in developing project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules; conducting site visits and field assessments; supporting critical path scheduling; managing construction bid packages and contractor selection; participating in constructability reviews; performing quality assurance checks; and ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, and a deep understanding of construction practices, codes, and regulations. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills are essential for success in this fast-paced, multi-project environment.
