Job TitleOffice Engineer - InternationalLocationMontgomery, AL, on-site*This position offers a path to full time international field staff employment upon successful completion of 1‑2 years in the home office*ResponsibilitiesAssist the Technical Coordinator in reviewing and processing project construction submittals across all disciplines and officesEnsure completeness and correctness of project submittals, reviewing for compliance with specifications and contract requirementsReview and process Request for Design Clarifications (RFDC) and Requests for Information (RFI) and other office engineering activities as directedReview construction submittal packages prepared by procurement and site staff to confirm compliance with contract documentsCollaborate with procurement staff to resolve issues with nonconforming submittalsTrack and ensure timely submission (and resubmission) of construction submittals to maintain project scheduleAssist in the resolution of owner or AE comments on reviewed submittal packagesAssist in the review and resolution of RFDC and RFI issuesAssist with tracking and processing of change orders, RFPs, and REAsMaintain the master drawing revision log and notify project personnel of document updatesPerform other duties as assignedWork conditions: office setting, occasional travel required, full timeReporting structure: Technical Coordinator InternationalQualificationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent technical and time‑management skillsStrong client‑relations skillsAbility to develop a working knowledge of all applicable Caddell processes and proceduresAbility to communicate and work with multinational and multidisciplinary employeesExcellent organizational skillsProficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and OutlookMinimum high‑school diploma/GED and four years' experience in the construction industry requiredFour‑year degree in engineering, construction, architecture, or management preferredCurrent clearance, or ability to obtain, a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance requiredWhile the salary range is typically between $49,100 and $73,600 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process.Caddell Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer for veterans, disability, and other protected classes under applicable laws and regulations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
