Welder Fitter $880 WEEKLY

Key Requirements:

• Required: Ability to read, comprehend, and fit parts and assemblies together from engineering prints and drawings.
• Previous fitter experience is required.
• Layout, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler
• Tack-weld or weld components or assemblies using welding equipment (Mig Welding)
• Inspect grooves, angles, or gaps, using micrometer, caliper, and precision measuring instruments.
• Remove rough spots from workpieces, using grinder, file, or scraper
• Welds components in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions
• Heats, forms, and dresses metal parts using welding equipment
• Ignites torch and adjusts valve, amperage, or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc.
• Analyzes engineering drawings, and specs to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
• Develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts
• Ability to read a tape measure and micrometer
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
• A clear understanding of machine blueprints and symbols
