Step into leadership at Shoe Carnival! We're looking for a dependable and energetic Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations and support the team. In this full-time role, you'll act as a key holder, lead by example, and help drive a fun, customer-first store environment.What You'll Do:Open and close the store as a key holderSupport the General Manager in reaching sales goalsLead customer service efforts and resolve issues professionallyTrain and guide associates on processes and standardsDelegate daily tasks and coordinate breaksAssist with visual merchandising and store presentationPerform register overrides, safe/till counts, and cash reconciliationFollow and promote loss prevention proceduresWhat We're Looking For:Strong communication and leadership skillsGreat customer service and a positive attitudeAt least 2 years of retail or customer service experiencePrevious supervisory experience is a plusMust be able to complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 daysFlexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidaysDue to keyholder responsibilities, including store opening/closing and equipment use, applicants must be at least 18 years of agePhysical Requirements:Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbsComfortable bending, reaching, and working on your feetWhy Work With Us:Friendly, team-focused environmentGreat experience for future retail managersHands-on leadership trainingReady to take the next step in your retail career?
