Job Title: Protection & Control Technician
Location: Montgomery, Alabama
Type: Contract
Compensation: $35.00
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot protection and control relaying and associated devices
- Perform calibration of various types of protection and control relays and devices
- Assist in creating and maintaining protection and control documentation
- Assist assigned project lead with field assignments
- Install, program, and maintain protection and control relays and devices
- Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and practices
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred
- 0-3 years experience in a controls technician or similar role
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Working knowledge of PLCs and HMIs
- Experience with AC and DC systems
- Successful candidate must live within a reasonable commute to the assigned office location
