The primary work responsibilities of this classification include:nreceiving items for inventory, maintaining the items in storage, issuing andnreleasing items, and performing other related duties. The supervisors of thesenemployees vary by assigned location.nMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED and six (6) months ofnexperience in warehouse operations such as receiving, issuing and storingnmaterials.nnnNOTE: Qualifyingneducation, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skillsnand abilities to perform the job will be considered.nnSpecial RequirementsSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Mustnhave or obtain a valid and current Alabama driver's license in order to drivenvehicles for the delivery or pick-up of items.nnnPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Incumbentsnkneel, crouch, twist, climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, push, pull, drag,ngrasp and lift items in the storage facility.
