The Forensic Pathologists' Assistant, Senior is a permanent, full-time position with the Department of Forensic Sciences. Positions are located throughout the state. This is highly technical and full performance casework assisting licensed Medical Examiners in performing postmortem examinations and determining the cause and manner of death in unlawful, suspicious, and unnatural deaths. This level is also responsible for training less experienced forensic pathologists' assistants and serving as a team lead.
