Summary:

Join Meta as a Logistics Operations Expert, where you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing Data Center Field and Warehouse operations. Collaborating closely with the Site Logistics Operations Lead, you will design and deploy efficient processes, while managing third-party logistics teams. This position calls for exceptional communication, teamwork, and prioritization abilities, along with a solid background in process analysis and logistics enhancement.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee logistics operations at the assigned data center, ensuring compliance with 4S standards (Safety, Security, SOX compliance, Stakeholders).

  2. Continuously assess site logistics operations, identify gaps, and formulate effective remediation plans.

  3. Collaborate with third-party logistics provider leads to fulfill logistical requirements, including inventory accuracy, distribution, server rack movements, and shipping/receiving processes.

  4. Identify operational gaps and recommend standardization solutions across Meta's data center facilities.

  5. Document and maintain clear protocols for efficient and safe logistics operations within Meta's data centers.

  6. Build and nurture cross-functional relationships to enhance communication in operations management.

  7. Conduct monthly audits to verify compliance with inventory controls.

  8. Support financial reporting processes at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.

  9. Enable leadership to navigate business needs and implement necessary changes while contributing to ongoing enhancements.

  10. Drive inventory reconciliation to pinpoint risks, manage obsolescence, and address errors affecting inventory movements.

  11. Lead initiatives for process improvements and efficiency gains at designated data center and warehouse locations.

  12. Raise awareness of field issues requiring enhanced systemic controls to central logistics for process development.

  13. Collaborate with field leads, vendors, and contract labor to successfully implement new processes.

  14. Partner with fellow Logistics Operations Specialists to exchange best practices and promote efficiencies.

  15. Monitor performance metrics to uncover trends in data center field and warehouse operations.

  16. Assist in executing Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, analyze discrepancies, and devise corrective actions to improve outcomes.

  17. Define and manage KPIs to evaluate compliance and performance of logistics operations.

  18. Work collaboratively to develop unified solutions in instances of identified inconsistencies.

  19. Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, business management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of logistics experience, including operations oversight, team performance, and SLA compliance.

  • Strong ability to work independently, managing time and priorities effectively.

  • Familiarity with ERP, TMS, CMS, and WMS systems, including Oracle, Excel, and other analytical tools.

  • Proven communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management, including prioritization, planning, scheduling, and reporting.

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain processes across the Procure-to-Pay spectrum.

  • Background in business analysis or program management.

  • Familiarity with Supply Chain and Inventory management models.

  • Experience within a data center environment.

  • Participation in cross-functional projects spanning multiple teams.

Compensation:

$115,000/year to $163,000/year plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
