Join our dynamic team at SRM Concrete as a Concrete Plant Operations Manager! We are looking for an enthusiastic leader who is dedicated to ensuring the efficient operation of our concrete plants. In this pivotal role, you will manage daily activities, coordinate the timely delivery of concrete to job sites, and optimize resource utilization while providing outstanding service to our customers. If you have strong leadership skills, a detailed understanding of logistics and supply chain management in the concrete or construction industry, and a commitment to safety and quality, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily plant operations, including staff scheduling, load planning, and route optimization.
• Collaborate effectively with plant managers, drivers, and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely concrete delivery.
• Implement performance metrics to evaluate the efficiency and productivity of operations.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues regarding delivery schedules, product quality, and service.
• Ensure all safety regulations and company policies are upheld, creating a safe work environment.
• Conduct team meetings to assess performance, discuss operational challenges, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and the SRM team.
• Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in dispatch operations, ideally in the concrete or construction sector.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, capable of inspiring and guiding your team toward operational excellence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for fostering positive relationships with team members, customers, and partners.
• Proficient in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for concrete transportation and delivery.
• Willingness to undergo SRM's pre-employment screenings.
