Position Summary:

Join our dynamic team as a Host, where you'll be the first friendly face our guests see, setting a welcoming tone for their dining experience. Your warm demeanor and outstanding customer service skills will ensure that every guest feels valued and at home. You will efficiently manage the flow of guests, seat them promptly, and assist in keeping the dining area clean and organized.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a warm smile and friendly demeanor upon arrival.
  • Skillfully manage the seating chart to accommodate guests and enhance table turnover.
  • Field phone calls for reservations or inquiries in a polite and professional manner.
  • Present menus to guests and notify servers of their arrival to ensure prompt service.
  • Keep an organized waiting list and inform guests as their tables become available.
  • Maintain a clean and inviting hostess station and lobby area.
  • Assist with side duties like refilling condiments, restocking menus, and helping servers when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and write proficiently.
  • Strong communication skills essential for guest interaction.
  • Capable of standing for up to 8 hours during shifts.
  • Able to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Full mobility of hands and arms to perform tasks such as transporting plates, glasses, and baskets.
