At STERIS, we help our Customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product and service solutions around the globe.Position SummaryAs an Assembler you will be responsible for performing assembly work utilizing lean principles (one-piece flow) toproduce FDA regulated devices in a controlled collaborative work environment.Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm - 2:00am and Friday 11:00am-3:00pmThe Experience, Skills and AbilitiesRequired:* High school graduate/GEDOther:* Previous assembly experience with small or complex assemblies preferred; 1 - 2 years.* Ability to perform in-process inspections and testing preferred; 1 - 2 years.* Communication - Ability to read, understand and communicate oral and written instructions in English.* Reasoning Ability - Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving parts and equipment variation while maintaining quality expectations.
