Required Qualifications
Minimum requirements include two years' experience in health care foodservice management AND one of the following: 1. Graduate of a dietary manager's training program, approved by the Dietary Manager's Association, or
2. Graduate of a dietetic technician program approved by the American Dietetic Association, or
3. Graduate from a college or university who has received a B.S. degree in the field of dietetics, food and nutrition or food service management which included course work in diet therapy and quantity food production
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees the budget and purchasing of food and supplies, and food preparation, services, and storage.
Maintains a clean and sanitary environment.
Overseeing safe and timely meal preparation, including the provision of meals and/or supplements in accordance with residents' needs, preferences, and care plan.
Monitors regular and therapeutic diets, including texture of foods and liquids to meet the specialized needs of residents.
Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings.
Participates in QAPI activities when food and nutrition services are involved.
Dietary Manager Assigned Tasks
