The employee is responsible fornreceiving, issuing, inspecting, and storing a large and varied stock of equipmentnand supplies by various City departments. The work responsibilities include processingnand reconciling purchasing and billing of supplies, equipment and/or parts,nassisting technicians with diagnosing equipment problems, maintaining andnupdating vendor contracts, conducting spot checks and annual inventory, andnpreparing surplus equipment and vehicles for public sale. The employee hasnconsiderable independent responsibility for maintaining adequate supply andnstock levels.
