Accounting Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to perform accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate transactions, providing assurance that our accounting practices adhere to financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures, and performing general ledger entries and account reconciliations.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Prepare account reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurately stated.
  • Support internal and external audit requests.
  • Maintain existing internal controls while looking for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Posting complex entries to general ledger, ensure proper coding and reconciliation of source docs to general ledger. Complex entries include, but are not limited to intercompany accounting, hourly and salary payroll, corporate allocations, accounts payable invoices, accounts receivable invoices, incoming & outgoing payments, depreciation, and amortization.
  • Assist with governmental reporting/compliance.
  • Manage projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned.
  • Reconcile accounting data.
  • Maintain various ledgers, journals, registers, and other fiscal records; allocate costs/revenues to appropriate functions; classify expenditures and post them to various accounts as required.
  • Expense management for business unit.
  • Sales and Use tax filings.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and theories of financial statements and reports, accounting ledgers and journals and computer technology related to accounting systems.
  • 1-3 years of experience a plus.

What We Offer:

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $54,720 - $71,820 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
