Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Printer/Copy Machine Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of office equipment including printers, copiers, fax machines, and multifunction devices. This role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with printers, copiers, and related equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive servicing to ensure optimal performance.
• Install and configure new devices and software updates.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for parts and warranty claims.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in printer/copier repair (e.g., HP, Canon, Xerox, Ricoh, Brother).
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with networking and software integration for multifunction devices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (clean driving record).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with remote diagnostics and service ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of inventory management and parts ordering.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
