The Unified Communications Engineer shall be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level unified communications systems. This role requires advanced technical expertise in voice, video, data, and messaging technologies, with a focus on complex troubleshooting, system optimization, and proactive maintenance. The engineer will configure and integrate unified communications systems, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals. The role may assist in planning and executing technology projects and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Additional duties within the scope of the role may be assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree in a relevant field is preferred. Minimum 26 years of experience in a similar or related role is required; an equivalent combination of experience, education, certifications, and demonstrated proficiency will be considered.
One or more current, industry-standard certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA ITF+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Technician).
