Your future role
Design electrical systems and equipment for innovative industrial packaging machines
Ensuring compliance with applicable electrical standards, codes, and safety regulations
Preparing accurate cost and material estimates for projects
Providing technical support and guidance to manufacturing team members during installation and troubleshooting
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and define new product development opportunities
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability
Design and develop safety programs for automation systems including robotics
Review and validate safety performance level of control systems
Technical recommendations to ensure seamless integration of third-party equipment
Required skills
At least 3 years of proven experience working in an industrial automation manufacturing environment
Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field with a focus on the manufacturing of automated industrial machinery
Knowledge in electrical engineering principles, standards, and practices such as NFPA, UL, and NEC
Strong proficiency with CAD software such as EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
Familiarity with automation and control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and industrial communication protocols
Ability to perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electrical systems to ensure proper operation of machines
Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills with the ability to think critically
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
