Join to apply for the Electrical Project Manager role at Crete United. Crosby Electric, a Crete United Company, is looking for a Project Manager to support Electrical Construction, Industrial/Commercial Electrical Service, and Electrical Preventative Maintenance. This Project Manager will be located in our Montgomery office and will manage jobs within 1 hour of the Montgomery office. Pay

Base: $85,000-$130,000. Great bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Account Management - Lead the efforts to maintain long-term owner direct relationships with new and assigned key accounts


• Estimating - Lead/assist with preconstruction activities required to backlog future work


• Purchasing - Issue purchase orders for equipment, materials and subcontractors in a timely manner that does not jeopardize the project schedule


• Scheduling - Develop a plan for what is to be done, what resources are required and when; coordinate with field superintendents / the client / general contractors / subcontractors to meet timetables for completion of work. Ensure subcontractors have been scheduled to complete their activities as required by the scope of work


• Manpower management Work with trade superintendents to ensure that the correct number of workers and the level of expertise required for each project is provided


• Quality management Ensure that labor and materials meet the specifications of the client; include site visits, reviewing drawings and specifications as well as maintaining effective communications with the client


• Managing margins Complete monthly billings, monthly job cost reports, and monthly manpower requirements to ensure that profit margins are maintained according to estimates


• Project closeout Prepare final as-built drawings, develop operation and maintenance manuals, establish warranty dates, complete punch list items and collect final billings

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively coordinate between electrical and other trades


• 3 years electrical project management or general project management preferred or 8 years electrical field experience


• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications


• Strong written and oral communication skills


• Strong work ethic


• Desire to teach assistant project managers and field employees


• Ability to multi-task responsibilities


• Computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Project Management platforms such as Procore, and ability to learn new software


• A Journeyman or contractors license is preferred but not required


• Pass background check and drug screen
