Job Summary

If you have excellent concentration, technological proficiency, and a commitment to professionalism, then you would be a perfect addition to our Life team as a Proofreader I. As a Life Proofreader I, you will be a vital part of the document completion process, checking for errors and inconsistencies.
Responsibilities
Proofreading and choosing the appropriate documents. To include keying the appropriate information on the documents which will be included in the policy contract
Review, approval, and data entry of beneficiary changes.
Proofreading checks, letters, and forms
Prepare duplicate policies
Electronically compiling the policy packets and emailing via DocuSign directly to the agent and/or policyowner.
Handle calls and emails from agents and other departments.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Business courses are helpful
Part I LOMA (Course 1 and 2) is helpful
Experience in other units within the life department is helpful
They must a have good reading and English skills.
Good documentation and organizational skills are a must for the position
Extensive knowledge of life products is necessary to administer company procedures
