Product Engineer (PE) will directly support manufacturing activities related to products in the rotating electrical machinery classification. The candidate will also support this product family through product improvement and new product development efforts that will involve design, test, troubleshooting, and production readiness activities. PE will be responsible for all facets of manufacturing support and new product design and development of various airborne electro-mechanical systems and/or devices. Principal area of focus will be electrical generators/alternators and associated voltage regulators. In addition to traditional mechanical design skills the successful candidate will also possess a fundamental understanding of basic electrical and electromagnetic principles. The candidate must be creative and capable of proposing inventive solutions to design, manufacturing and service related problems.
