How you will make a difference :

• Plan and implement resident activities based on needs
• Maintain activities calendar and assist with community newsletter
• Coordinate transportation for residents
• Assist with new resident orientation
• Establish and coordinate the Community Resident Council
• Supervise community store operations
• Respond to resident feedback and coordinate volunteers
• Document community history with photographs and scrapbooks
• Operate activities within budget
• Serve as MOD as assigned and perform other duties

What we are looking for :

• 1 year of experience in senior housing or event planning preferred
• Degree or certification in gerontology, recreation, or related field
• Affinity for senior adults
• Strong organization and customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective reading, writing, and speaking in English
• Valid driver's license; CDL if necessary
• Availability for evenings and weekends for events
