Description:

CTG is seeking to fill a SAP S4 Finance - Profit Center Reorganization Expert opening for our client in Irvine, CA.

Location: Remote (with up to 2 weeks of travel around go-live)

Duration: 6 months

Duties:

  • Lead and execute Profit Center Reorganization initiatives in SAP S/4HANA (or ECC with New GL).

  • Utilize SAP FINS_REORG_001 tool to assess impacts, perform simulation runs, validate data, and ensure reporting consistency.

  • Manage organizational structure changes including profit center, cost center, and business area realignments.

  • Coordinate reorganization plans from creation through simulation, execution, and post-implementation monitoring.

  • Ensure integrity and consistency of Universal Journal (ACDOCA) data through document splitting and audit trails.

  • Collaborate with finance and controlling teams to ensure accurate alignment of financial structures.

  • Address integration and consistency impacts across MM, SD, and PP modules.

Skills:

  • Expert-level experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (or ECC with New GL).

  • Proficiency in SAP Profit Center Reorganization Tool (FINS_REORG_001).

  • In-depth knowledge of Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and document splitting.

  • Strong understanding of Controlling (CO) and Financial Accounting (FI).

  • Hands-on experience in margin analysis (account-based CO-PA).

  • Ability to perform data consistency checks and reporting impact assessments.

  • Experience with profit center hierarchy realignments.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated history of executing multiple profit center reorganizations, particularly in large enterprise environments.

  • Prior use of tools such as FINS_REORG_MONITOR and FINS_REORG_PLAN.

  • Change management experience during finance reorganizations.

  • Familiarity with cross-functional module impacts during reorganization (MM, SD, PP).

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.

  • SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $ 70 to $ 95 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
