GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE :
The Chief Engineer provides leadership in the long-term development and support of assigned product lines to meet domestic and international market needs. The individual in this position works cross functionally across multiple lines of business to identify and develop design enhancements and ensure appropriate risk mitigation plans are in place.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Experience : 8+ Years Heavy equipment product line development, Multi discipline engineering integration and Customer interaction. 6+ Experience as a Chief Engineer or similar role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Advanced Degree in Business / Engineering
Experience : 4 years leading CFT and 2 years Project Management experience. 12+ years heavy equipment product line development, multi discipline engineering integration and customer interaction.
Licenses / Certifications : Obtain and maintain Railroad Certifications, Professional Engineer and AREMA Committee Membership

Loram determines compensation based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, and / or experience. Certain positions may be eligible for an annual bonus and paid time off in addition to base compensation.
Starting pay for the position is between $120,084.80 - $150,106.00.
