You will be responsible for the following...
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
  • Design and implement automation systems for packaging, processing, and material handling.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and coordinate with vendors to resolve system challenges.
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, safety, and quality, while reducing costs.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to site engineers on automation concepts and system specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in packaging automation.
You will be required to have the following ...
  • BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Technical Engineering (required).
  • 5-7 years of experience in automation or controls engineering, ideally in a manufacturing environment-preferably in food or high-speed packaging.
  • Proficiency with PLC Ladder Logic programming, automation control, and HMI design/configuration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%, based on project requirements.

  • Direct involvement in automation projects within the food, beverage, or consumer goods sectors.
  • Experience working with equipment integrators and high-speed bottling systems.
  • Knowledge of advanced packaging and processing automation technologies.
