Pay Range: $20/hr

Pay is based on numerous factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

POSITION SUMMARY INFORMATION: DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate supports Response Logistics projects by maintaining equipment, vehicles, and materials located at the Warehouse ensuring they are prepared for immediate deployment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with loading and unloading of equipment and materials.
  • Assists with the cleanliness, operator level maintenance, and general orderliness of the equipment.
  • Assists with the cleanliness, operator level maintenance, and general orderliness of the facility.
  • Troubleshoot and take corrective action on minor equipment deficiencies.
  • Assist with inventory.
  • Prepare equipment packages for different deployment orders.
  • Utilize pallet jack, forklift, telehandler, and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload equipment and trailers.
  • Setup and test various mobile equipment including generators, shower trailers, laundry trailers, housing trailers, kitchen trailers, reefer trailers
  • Required to make occasional deliveries to projects or deploy for short periods of time to assist with project mobilization or demobilization.
Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, and Experience:
  • Valid Driver's License; the ability to drive/operate various vehicles including full size dually trucks and 26' box trucks (Non CDL).
  • 1-2 years experience working in inventory management, logistics, or warehouse position.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing requirements.
Preferred Education, Certifications, Licenses, and Experience:
  • Experience with forklift and telehandler operation and the ability to be certified on multiple platforms.
  • Experience with deployment, setup/installation, and operation of shower trailers, restroom trailers, kitchen trailers, laundry trailers, or similar mobile emergency trailer equipment.
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, general construction knowledge.


Work Environment:

Employees may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

Physical Requirements:

Employees may be required to remain in a stationary position, stand, push, pull, climb, kneel, crawl, balance, squat, bend, and reach. Employees may be also required to use gear to move items around, including, but not limited to, carts and dollies. Employees may also be occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 49 pounds.
