Job Title: Plant Controller

Location: Franklin, MA

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000

Job Summary

We seek a detail-oriented Plant Controller to manage financial reporting, enhance processes, support financial planning, and ensure timely financial statements. Collaborate with various departments to improve profitability. Lead the local finance team in ledger management, reporting, audit preparation, and task automation projects. Work with the global team on budgeting and forecasting.

Job Duties as a Plant Controller

• Prepare budget and forecasts for the USA site; monitor actual versus budgeted results and address concerns with the responsible area.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, reports, and schedules according to the company Group's closing schedule.
• Manage all accounting operations and supervise the accurate processing of payroll.
• Analyze revenues, direct and indirect costs, and SGA expenses; report on variances.
• Collaborate with the CFO to ensure a clean and timely year-end financial audit and assist with tax audits.
• Work with the company's tax advisor to manage and comply with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Coordinate, resolve, and improve issues with banks.
• Monitor the credit control process.
• Provide insights on expenses and advise on outliers requiring attention.
• Assess the financial impact of operational improvements with operations and the continuous improvement team.
• Supervise a team of 2 employees, ensuring timely and accurate work completion.
• Oversee payroll data input, using automated systems to produce accurate payroll reports for management and audits.

Position Requirements

• Accounting degree with 7-10 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Statutory Accounting principles.
• ERP experience with MS D365.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills focused on internal customer service.
