Position Summary

This role involves supervising and developing management and hourly associates within the facility. Responsibilities include hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, evaluating performance, recognizing achievements, and fostering a sense of belonging. The position also entails ensuring compliance with company policies, analyzing reports, overseeing safety and quality standards, and leading community outreach programs. Additionally, the role focuses on driving financial performance, managing budgets, controlling expenses, and achieving sales and profit goals. The manager models excellent customer service, builds high-performing teams, and promotes a culture of respect, integrity, and excellence. They are expected to act with integrity, serve customers and members effectively, and strive for continuous improvement. The position offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits, including health, financial, and paid time off benefits. The annual salary range is $85,000 to $105,000, with potential additional compensation based on performance and location.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of general management experience including financial accountability.
2 years of supervising 20 or more associates/employees, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required.
For facilities selling only ammunition with state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
Effective January 26, 2019, associates must complete all job-required trainings and assessments, including Academy and Open Door trainings.

Preferred Qualifications

Optional qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, experience managing a grocery area, supervising 50 or more associates, and responsibilities involving performance management, mentoring, and employment decisions such as hiring and disciplinary actions.
