For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required.
For facilities selling only ammunition with state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
Effective January 26, 2019, associates must complete all job-required trainings and assessments, including Academy and Open Door trainings.
Optional qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, experience managing a grocery area, supervising 50 or more associates, and responsibilities involving performance management, mentoring, and employment decisions such as hiring and disciplinary actions.
