Job Description

Ignite provides professional services to educational, federal, and commercial clients, aiming to be a leading provider in this space.

Overview: Ignite seeks a Space Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) SME to provide analysis, strategy development, and operational support to USSTRATCOM's Joint EMSO Center. The role involves assessing space EW capabilities, identifying gaps, and shaping future policies and strategies to enhance Joint Force EMSO readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct analysis of DoD space EW capabilities, identifying operational gaps and threats.
  2. Support development of future concepts, strategies, and operational plans related to space EMSO and space control.
  3. Provide technical analysis on offensive and defensive space control capabilities, identifying vulnerabilities and improvements.
  4. Participate in DOD forums, studies, and working groups to influence JEMSO readiness.
  5. Collaborate with management and SMEs to recommend space EMSO capabilities.
  6. Develop mitigation strategies for space EW weaknesses.
  7. Produce technical documentation, reports, and briefings as per contract requirements.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Space 200 course or equivalent space operations curriculum.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in space electromagnetic warfare or related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in spectrum analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of space EMS operations and vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with JCIDS and PPB processes.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting Combatant Command-level EMSO or space operations.
  • Experience influencing DOD policy related to space control or EMSO.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
