Position: Brand President

As a Brand President, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing brand performance by maintaining effective strategic partnerships with OEMs. Your responsibilities will include forging strong relationships with OEM corporate contacts, analyzing market trends, optimizing sales and aftersales processes, and ensuring alignment with AutoNation's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cultivate relationships with key OEM corporate contacts and understand all key OEM measurables.
  2. Utilize OEM portals to leverage data to drive strategic decisions.
  3. Conduct thorough market analysis including sales and aftersales PMAs, distribution lists, and site surveys.
  4. Evaluate process execution across all dealership roles and ensure staffing is aligned for optimal performance.
  5. Analyze survey trends and facilitate mystery shopping exercises.
  6. Develop action plans in collaboration with GMs and market teams to address deficiencies and drive results.
  7. Drive accountability through training, coaching, and performance management.
  8. Collaborate with analytics, facilities, marketing, and HR teams to support brand initiatives.
  9. Track store performance and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Utilize technology tools to enhance sales efficiency, diagnose opportunities, and conduct root cause analysis.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  2. 7+ years' experience in OEM manufacturing and automotive retail industry.
  3. Proficiency in negotiating framework agreements and understanding financial statements.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  5. In-depth understanding of retail/dealership and OEM operations.
  6. Knowledge of legal and compliance requirements in the automotive industry.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across various OEMs.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain composed under pressure.
  9. Proactive approach to finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.
