Job Title: Construction Project Management

Location: Montgomery, AL - Onsite

Duration: One Year - looking to convert sooner if good fit

Hours: M-F 8-5 standard, some one-off on weekends



Client Notes;


  • Need to be onsite- will also have a home office

  • Roofing, interior painting, concrete work (General contracting oversight PM)

  • manage and execute as well as develop new ones the client has

  • biweekly meeting with client where they bring up new projects constantly

  • LED replacement, paving projects

  • issue RFPs, issue trade contractors

  • work with facility management team


Resource's typical working day: Client is Industrial manufacturing site

Be direct POC with client. Client facing key. Roof replacements, flooring projects, improvement projects; need person to execute and report on projects. Stay on top of projects. Develop new projects; document and scope. Have expertise (general contractor exp.) to know what needs to be done and priced. Put out RFP to receive pricing. Review the scope of work. Put proposals together and present to client. Execute and develop for client.


  • Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality, safety & risk) with little




  • oversight from leadership




  • Self-Starter, does not need to be micromanaged

  • Well-spoken and can be in front of the Client, i.e. can sell work.

  • Good communicator and knows when to elevate issues.

  • Flexible and nimble when it comes to working through issues, know the end goal.

  • Good follow-up, follow through, and knowing next steps for cradle to grave management of Projects.

  • Do whatever it takes mentality, if you have to show up on a Saturday or Sunday every once in a while, show-up.




Requirements:


  • Quality improvement or ground up construction experience would be beneficial.

  • HVAC and chiller

  • Mechanical, pluming, and electrical projects





  • Years of Experience needed: 5 Years of Experience minimum. General Contractor Experience is preferred due to the work being done such as trade work (mechanical and electrical)

  • Level of Education: Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or related field preferred

  • Systems/Software proficiencies: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Project, and Adobe. Bluebeam for take offs would be preferred

  • Top Must have Skills: Managing a budget schedule, self-starter, Well spoken with clients, great communication skills, very organized

  • Top Nice to have Skills: General contracting experience, strong follow up skills, and experience dealing with large volume. Familar with the trades, not just an overseer.

  • Interview Process: 2 rounds of interviews.

  • Work Equipment Issued: Laptop
