**Order Fulfillment Coordinator**

The primary expediting purpose is to ensure that all possible actions are taken to allow product from Mobile and Montpelier to be shipped on time. The incumbent will ensure that proactive efforts are made to identify and track critical orders and that expeditious reactive efforts are made to recover when orders are late or incomplete. The incumbent acts as a conduit for information flowing between the sales organization (inside and outside) and the operating organization, including production planning, production, technical services, and shipping.

The incumbent will be responsible for supporting Montpelier when the Montpelier Order Fulfillment Coordinator is out of the office.

The incumbent will be responsible for putting together Schedulings weekly highlights and distributing them to the Director of Planning and Scheduling.

The incumbent will communicate with sales, operations and management on aged and the downgrading of inventory. The incumbent will perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies by interacting with team members, operations, and other departments.

The incumbent also performs a number of duties related to maintaining accurate production and inventory records.

**QUALIFICATIONS** **1.** **Competencies and Experience**

**Required:**

Steel experience within QA, Sales, Scheduling or Shipping department.

Strong administrative and communication skills, including an ability to juggle a multitude of tasks with patience and persistence.

Strong computer skills.

Self-motivated and assertive with good negotiating skills

Very good understanding of complex systems, analytical thinking

Independent, target-oriented and structured way of working

Ability to function independently in a dynamic work environment

**Preferred:** Background in sales, production planning, or technical services.

An in-depth knowledge of SSAB Americas sales organization, order-taking procedures and

systems, and Montpelier and Mobiles operating, technical services, and shipping organizations.

**2. Education**

**Required:** High School Diploma

A minimum of three years business experience or equivalent to an Associates Degree

**Preferred:** Associates or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration
