**Position Summary:**

The job holder will report to the Logistics Service Manager and will work within a multifunctional team and will be the first contact for operations on any planning and logistical issues. The overall purpose of the role is to support logistics in the warehouse and line side in partnership with the Logistics Service Provider (LSP) interface. Scope of activity is Single Aisle Final Assembly Line.

This assignment will be through April 2022.

**Essential Functions:**

* Receive, store, kit and make timely delivery of material to the production floor.

* Perform physical and material handling duties required to receive Flowline material, purchased parts, outside production, tools and other necessary materials for operations.

* Prepare parts by packaging material according to established procedures, weighing, labeling and completing paperwork

* Take appropriate action for damaged materials received from both outside and inside the Logistic Center.

* Perform stocking process into locations for material coming from Flowline areas, receiving, or transferred from OLC.

* Pick material from stocking location as specified by Transfer Orders (TO's).

* Pick up WIP/OSW parts and assemblies from shop floor MDU's from within the Flowline stations and inventory for move forward list

* Package material in a manner that will secure and protect all the materials required for that MDU.

* Issue material from stock via confirmation of TO at bin location in LC to the MDU during the audit and staging process.

* Utilize counting scales when appropriate.

* Move WIP/OSW carts from Flowline to Final Phase and inventory within the marketplace for accuracy

* Assist with the movement of materials in the Logistic center for purge stock and restock as required.

* Ensure the part and assembly protection is maintained at all times.

* Will perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements (Skills needed):**

Required:

* The Jobholder should have 6 months of experience warehouse operations environment.

* It is necessary to have a strong ability to apply acquired know-how to the FAL USA perimeter to consequently secure AIRBUS standards and requirements.

* It is of high importance to have strong counting skills to reveal problems and to be eager to develop stable solutions by using existing procedures.

Preferred:

* Detailed knowledge of common applications such as SAP/R3 (Module PP/PM)

* Good working knowledge of logistics processes

* Firsthand experience in material flow handling

* Knowledge of health, safety and environmental

* Ability to maintain accuracy of material inventory counts

* Ability to work effectively in intercultural multifunction teams

* Effective communicator

* Basic problem solving skills

**Education/Special Qualifications (schooling, certifications):**

* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
