About this Position:

TJFACT is seeking to hire an Administrative/Clerical Support to join our Team in Montgomery, AL! This position is contingent upon awarding the contract. Candidate will provide administrative support functions for the operations and programs of the Military and Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) at the 55 South Mitchell Street. Maxwell Air Force Base, AL, United States. 36112

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative support functions in support of all M&FRC operations and programs in accordance with local procedures.

  • Provide essential services to support special functions and special interest requests, both scheduled and unscheduled.
  • Manage various aspects of special events, including advertising programs, securing spaces, receiving and packaging materials, etc.
  • Utilize appropriate marketing techniques to reach target audiences for all program components and workshops.
  • Document all assessments, services, and referrals, emphasizing problem prevention.
  • Ensure that education and training records are updated, and services are documented in AFFIRST.
  • Provide information and referral services, as well as follow-up for all M&FRC core programs.
  • Staff should focus on proactive problem-solving and prevention in their interactions with clients.
  • Maintain a thorough and accurate record of all services provided to individuals or groups.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall effectiveness of M&FRC services.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in marketing and program support.
  • Foster positive relationships with commanders, first sergeants, and command chiefs to enhance program visibility and effectiveness.


Required Qualifications:

  • Associates/Bachelors degree is a plus.
  • Ability to provide necessary services for special functions and special interest requests.
  • Proficient in employing marketing techniques to reach target audiences.
  • Strong documentation skills for assessments, services, and referrals with a focus on problem prevention.
  • Experience in updating Education and Training records and documenting services in AFFIRST.
  • Ability to provide information and referral services, along with follow-up for all M&FRC core programs.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of military protocol, support group organizations, understanding of family systems in a military setting, ability to communicate, and work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Speak, write and understand the English language fluently.
  • Gain competency of duties within 30 calendar days.
  • Dress in appropriate business attire.
